Personal websites! What a blast of nostalgia!

I've got a not-secret: this super simple layout was something I designed way back in the twilight era of 2007! I'm almost surprised everything important works the way it used to; it's probably been at least 15 years since I opened notepad++. Back in the day, I used to run a network of websites: free layouts and wallpapers, livejournal icons (I know right), 20+ fanlistings, pre-ao3 personal fanfic hosting, just a little bit of everything. If you asked me why I decided to try it again, I guess I can only answer, well, nostalgia. I miss the internet of the early 00s. I miss the internet of the late 90s, the one I was first introduced to in a computer lab at the local tribal college I took summer classes at. I'm glad there's a place out here keeping the flame alive, so here I am, adding just a little more fuel.

I hope to add more when I get the time, but at least this can serve as a sort of catch-all for the places I haunt. I'm looking forward to seeing how we make websites these days, and seeing if I can't remember enough to build something brand new.
